Amanda Catalano is a dedicated middle school psychologist who has been serving the Hampton Bays Union Free School District for the past seven years. She has been trained in implementing restorative practices in schools and, as such, has served as the Restorative Justice Coordinator for the past six years. In this role, she has been instrumental in enhancing social-emotional learning through the implementation of restorative practices within her school community. Amanda holds a Master's degree in School Psycology from St. John's University and earned an Advanced Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from LIU. Her behavioral training enhances the effectiveness of the restorative practices she implements. Additionally, her specific training helps her work with administrators, school staff and students to better foster relationships for a positive school climate.
