• Recently updated State and National Standards that focus on answering compelling questions
• The four dimensions of Inquiries:developing questions; applying disciplinary tools; using evidence; and communicating conclusions and taking informed action
• The application of history, geography, economics, and civics content and skills to the Inquiry process
