  1. How the economic and social programs such as education, social security and Medicare are always under the constant threats of government spending reductions
  2. The strength of parent and educational organizations that work collaboratively towards the common goal of educating our students for the challenges that they will certainly face in the future
  3. The impact of changing demographics within this country and the impact that it will hold for our future generations
  4. The changing job market and how the global economy impacts current and future students
  5. Foreign strength, discipline, and differences within education for K-12 and college students
  6. The local, state, and federal programs that are in place to help students pay for college and locate jobs

  1. Determine if our nation is prepared to meet the economic, social, political and educational challenges that are presented by foreign nations. Explain the strengths and weaknesses of our government to determine the current and future needs of our citizens at home and abroad
