Carol Bottstein

Carol has been a School Psychologist for the Special Education Division of Western Suffolk BOCES for 31 years. Carol has extensive experience with the various student populations that Western Suffolk BOCES services, from preschool through age 21. She is trained in TEACCH , has trained staff in Non Violent Crisis Intervention through the Crisis Prevention Institute (including Autism Spectrum and Applied Physical Training) and is also a facilitator for STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting). Carol has provided numerous staff and parent workshops. She currently serves as a resource  and advocate for the Suffolk County Boy Scouts of America special needs troops.
