Jessica has been teaching for the Half Hollow Hills School District (NY) for eighteen years. She taught English at the middle school for fourteen years and has spent the last four years teaching High School English. Aside from teaching traditional English classes, she has also taught English classes geared toward English Language Learners. She has participated in curriculum writing for middle school English, cross-curricular writing, and curriculum for ELL English classes. She has been trained at the University of Virginia in differentiated instruction, and has received training to engage students in socratic and inquiry based work.
